"There's nothing to do! I'm bored." Yet those are words that Joyce Welch rarely hears. These days, her grandchildren attend Englehard Elementary School in Louisville, Ky., where year-round schooling has been in place for seven years.But, according to the National Association for Year-Round Education, more than 2.3 million U.S. public school students attended year-round schools in the 2002-03 school year. The number has steadily grown since the 1986-87 school year, when only about 360,000 students were enrolled in year-round schools. NAYRE also reports that 3,181 public schools now function year round, compared with 408 schools in 1986-87.

“Wow I don’t feel good” I said well we are riding in a capsule on the London eye. “Well you are like more than one hundred feet off the ground” “But we are safe in the capsule” “how long are we going to be up here? “It felt like ages like I was ten at the time but I thought I was like 40 years old, but it was only an hour. I looked over the side and a shiver went down my back so I asked “is this made of glass” “.Yes” my mom said.  I saw flashing, light I felt like I was going to faint but it was a great view, so I though mom why did you bring us here.  So I sat down in the middle and felt better. And I went to a smart tablet they have tablets all over it, it was smooth but a little dusty, “wow,  what just happened” it was just the color lights they used normal lights the hole time but then the lights changed I went black for a second because my eyes had to change. I wonder if it could ever be a space ship it looked like one but it had those shop doors that slide open.  So when we got off I felt like I was on a boat then we drove home. (But that is another story.)

Tick-Or-Treat

“Drip Drop!” I felt on my head so I said to my mom “Mom my costume is soaking do you care if it is ruined” because for my whole life my mom made my costumes.  We are in front of my older cousins house so when I went into the house my face turned red because I was a skunk and I was soaked so I looked like a dead rat.  But my cousin filled my bag with candy and I took off my costume and eat.

North Dakota

“I want you back…..” “wow there are some buffalo” I yelled. One hour later “don’t hit the buffalo”. wait a lets go back. We are going to the badlands in north Dakota. So we are getting in the car with Kate rose and peter. Just so you know Katie likes one direction and peter has ginger hair. So to get to the bad lands we have to drive 8 hours. And we passed huge mountain and mear cats holes. So when we got their we went to sleep so the next day we went mountain biking and saw really small lizards, the next day we went horseback riding in the mountains we ran through a river.
